Our client, an industry-leading beauty and haircare company, renowned for pioneering clean beauty and with deep roots in the professional beauty space, is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to join their dynamic team in Concord, CA.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Marketing to oversee our client’s comprehensive marketing efforts. This role is integral to driving the overall marketing strategy, including new product development, digital marketing, and omnichannel communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the beauty or haircare industry, demonstrating leadership, innovation, and an ability to execute high-impact marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across DTC, retail, digital, and professional channels
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with company goals
Oversee omni-channel communication strategies, leveraging platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo, and emerging AI trends to drive consumer engagement and data insights
Guide the launch of new product lines, ensuring strategic alignment and market readiness
Foster relationships with external partners and agencies to support marketing initiatives
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives
Drive the strategy behind the Director of Product Development
Develop compelling branding, communication, and storytelling strategies
Responsible for global marketing efforts, ensuring efficiency and keeping up with demand
Execute strategic marketing plans and communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including consumers, professional salons, retail communities, and retail teams
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in senior marketing roles within the beauty or haircare industry, preferably with experience in both consumer and professional sectors
Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Strong strategic and operational skills, with a hands-on approach to driving marketing initiatives
Excellent communication and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities
In-depth knowledge of omnichannel marketing, digital marketing, and data-driven consumer insights
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
