VP of IT
Job Description
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with other Senior and C-suite executives to align IT initiatives with overall business objectives.
Develop and communicate a clear IT vision and strategy that supports the company’s mission and enhances business growth.
ERP Evaluation and Implementation:
Evaluate proposed ERP systems and recommend improvements to optimize functionality and efficiency.
Oversee the successful implementation of ERP solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Ensure seamless integration of new ERP systems with existing technologies and processes.
Acquisition Integration:
Lead IT integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions to ensure a smooth transition of technology systems.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate and standardize IT systems post-acquisition.
Day-to-Day Operations:
Manage third-party IT managed services providers, including oversight of special projects and service level agreements.
Streamline IT processes, including new hire onboarding, IT vendor selection, and system architecture improvements.
Evaluate and address IT system gaps, implementing necessary improvements to enhance system performance.
Maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure IT systems meet organizational needs and demands.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
Extensive experience in network management and ERP software, with prior knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for both software and hardware issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive IT initiatives.
In-depth understanding of software and hardware requirements for varied database systems.
Proven experience in system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing, and support.
BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of business workflows and deep understanding of ERP systems.
Proven experience as a VP of IT or in a similar leadership role within a small to medium-sized company.
