Salary: $300,000 - $350,000

As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to lead their dynamic team and oversee their portfolio of ambitious projects.

Role Overview: The Vice President of Construction will play a critical role in driving the company’s strategic initiatives, ensuring that all projects are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget. This executive will lead a team of construction professionals and work closely with cross-functional leaders to advance the company’s objectives, maintain high standards of quality, and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the construction team, instilling a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage the end-to-end execution of major construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion.
• Engage with key stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and city officials to ensure project specifications and compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Implement innovative construction methods and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Extensive leadership experience in construction management, with a proven track record in a senior role, ideally within New York City or a similar major urban environment.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building and maintaining profitable partnerships and relationships.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
