VP of Clinical Services

Full Job Description

Dynasty Healthcare Group is looking for a Vice President of Clinical Services to provide Nursing / Clinical Leadership to our Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Communities. The Vice President of Clinical Services will direct the clinical processes and quality improvement strategies for Dynasty Healthcare Group.

  • Serves as a member of the Corporate Management Team, providing counsel on clinical operations and assisting in the development of Dynasty Healthcare Group’s strategic initiatives, operational plans, and goals for the organization.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations through proactive auditing and review of the organization’s continual readiness efforts.
  • Participates in any official visits, surveys, and audits among the facilities.
  • Regularly reviews policies and procedures, proposing modifications where needed and ensuring they are implemented, monitored, and evaluated to maintain compliance with directives of governing entities.
  • Actively involved in maintaining and/or improving the facilities’ ratings within the CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System.
  • Actively work with the Marketing Department to consistently improve census.
  • Creates and monitors the medical and nursing services of the organization to maximize resident/tenant/participant quality of life and quality of care in all service lines.
  • Assists Nursing leaders in Quality Improvement Management and Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Collaborate with the company’s support services. (social services, dietary services, activities, clinical records program, pharmaceutical program, rehabilitation services, environmental services, and other necessary support services) as needed for education and training to maximize resident quality of life and quality of care
  • Be a positive and enthusiastic leader with the flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the Long-Term Care delivery system.
  • As a Long-Term Care facility operates 24/7, this position is not limited to an 8a-5p M-F schedule


Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas
  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a Director of Nursing in senior or long- term care settings
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a history of clinical success
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Valid Driver’s license, with the ability to travel as needed
