Real Estate Investment firm creating a new Investor Relations role|Support both existing investor base as well as fundraising efforts

The client is a national real estate investor active in a number of commercial real estate verticals across the US with an emphasis on the Moutain West region. Investors are typically high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, and family offices. Capital is raised on an investment-specific basis.
Job Description
Newly created Vice President of Investor relations position where the incumbent will lead fund raising and strategic growth initiatives. The primary focus is the development of strong investor relationships. This effort includes developing and executing the firm's strategic new investor marketing initiatives, assisting with preparing documents for new investments, managing investor pipelines, preparing internal fund raising status presentations, designing and overseeing the creation of marketing collateral. Other duties include but not limited to:
Create and implement a new investor development strategy to help fund new business goals
Develop and execute a plan to expand the existing investor base, prioritizing key relationships
Serve as a key point of contact between existing and prospective investors and the firm.
Identify HNW and UHNW prospects and initiate relationships.
Create marketing and branding materials using graphic design and assist with web design, ensuring all materials are compliant with legal guidelines.
Coordinate media and PR efforts both internally and via third-party agencies
Own and manage the firm's technology platform for investors (e.g. Investor Portal) and support SEO efforts

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' experience in real estate investments, preferably private equity. Existing relationships with accredited high net worth/family office investors a large plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with sophisticated investors
Experience in multifamily assets a plus
Must have familiarity with Limited Partnership Agreements and Private Placement Memorandums
Tech savvy individual - typical tech platforms, Office suite etc but specific exposure to investor technology platforms, e.g. Juniper Square, would be beneficial.
What's on Offer
Strong based salary with bonus potential driven by amount of capital secured for future investments. Targeting a base salary in the $175,000 to $225,000 range.
