We are seeking a Vice President, Head of Capital and Liquidity Planning to serve as a senior leader on the Treasury team for our Property and Casualty Insurance and Reinsurance businesses. This position will be based in our Morristown NJ, Purchase NY, or NYC location.


As the Head of Capital and Liquidity Planning, you will be responsible for managing all interactions that support the capital and liquidity planning process. Reporting to the Global Treasurer, the incumbent will develop and maintain our capital management and liquidity management framework in the following locations including the United States, Canada, Bermuda, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and Asia. The Head of Capital and Liquidity Planning will drive the capital management process partnering with the Business Unit CFOs and ERM, ensuring we are adequately managing our capital resources. You will drive the liquidity management process partnering with the FP&A, Investments, Controllership, and ERM ensuring we have sufficient liquidity to meet our short term and long term needs.


Responsibilities

  • Support the transformation towards globally integrated treasury operations
  • Enhance and manage the regional and corporate direct cash flow forecasting process
  • In partnership with Business Unit CFOs and ERM develop and manage the Capital Management process
  • In partnership with ERM and Investments develop and manage the Liquidity Management Framework
  • In partnership with regional treasury functions develop and implement reporting KPIs for monitoring capital and liquidity adequacy and performance
  • In partnership with regional treasury functions build out a working capital plan
  • Manage the capital plan, including preparation of Board materials, internal stakeholder socialization and alignment conversations
  • Support the administration of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over capital management and liquidity activities
  • Incorporate FX and interest-rate management into Capital Management Framework
  • Contribute to the Company’s ALM Framework from a capital assessment and liquidity management perspective
  • Partner with Business Unit CFOs to develop subsidiary capital structures and approach to define
  • Support structuring working capital programs partnering with business partners, shared services, FP&A, and our Banking Network
  • Act as authorized signatory on bank accounts, as needed
  • Develop and enforce strong internal controls, effective security measures and financial management policies


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field
  • MBA or Masters’ degree in Finance or another quantitative subject area preferred; ideally supplemented by a relevant professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional or CFA
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a senior member of Global Treasury Function in the insurance industry
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with sizeable multidisciplinary and matrix teams
  • Knowledge of Capital Frameworks for Insurance Companies
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets Products available to Insurance Companies
  • High Level understanding of Investments

Salary Range: $170,000 - $225,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
