The opportunity is to work for an AI powered SaaS platform whose mission is to create a safer digital world. They are making waves given their disruptive approach to fraud prevention and cybersecurity.
They already have a global presence with operations in the US, UK, and Australia. This is an exciting time to be joining the company as they are poised for exponential growth having just closed $30M Series A, which was led by two global, top-tier VCs. This will be used to further fuel their impressive plans for global expansion and innovation.
This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside an incredible leadership team which includes the founder who has twice served as CEO of high-profile companies. They've also just announced the appointment of a renowned cybersecurity leader as Chief Commercial Officer.
Role
This is the companies first full time Finance hire, replacing their experienced fractional CFO, and you will report directly into their CEO and Founder. As VP Finance, you'll have a crucial role in designing and implementing the financial strategy. As their first in-house Finance hire, you will have the opportunity to shape and mold the finance function from the ground up whilst building out your own team.
What you'll need to succeed
You have successfully led a finance team in a fast-growing, VC backed start-up and helped it scale
Experience in SaaS finance and accounting, with strong understanding of transactional revenue models and recurring revenue recognition
Familiarity with services-based business models
Strong commercial and business acumen, to act as a strategic partner to the CEO and interface with the sales team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex financial information to diverse audiences.
A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented approach, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
