VP - Enterprise Risk Manager - New Product

We are partnered with an international banking organisation that is looking to hire a VP Enterprise Risk Manager to join their Strategic Initiatives Team, focusing on New Product Risk. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering key risk management initatives, addressing regulatory requirements, and enhancing risk governance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential risks across new products.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including scope, timing, resources and deliverables.
• Identify current risk management activities, and assist with the fomulation of desired state based on any regulatory best practices, and adhere to a continious gap analysis program.
• Prepare detailed risk reports and dashboards for senior management and other internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure comprehensive risk assessments.
• Support the enterprise risk management team in executing risk management initiatives and projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in financial services/ in relevant management consulting.
• Certifications such as CFA/ FRM preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Understanding of relevant banking regulations and risk management frameworks.
