Our corporate headquarters are located in Herndon, VA.

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP Controller will oversee the accounting functions of our organization. This role involves establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Key responsibilities include managing month-end close processes, internal controls, revenue recognition, financial audits, and compliance with government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRS requirements, with a solid understanding of FAR and CAS.
• Lead the preparation and management of the annual accounting budget, and actively contribute to M&A activities.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and Executive Management Team, preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Foster and maintain relationships with counterparts in our UK offices.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting or finance within Government Contracting.
• Proficiency in GAAP, IFRS, FAR, and CAS.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead large teams and collaborate across functions.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement.
