Position Overview: The Vice President of Business Development for the Business and Industry Division will be responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and management of AVI Foodsystems' national accounts within the corporate and business sectors. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The VP of Business Development will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with AVI Foodsystems' goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


● Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for national

accounts within the Business and Industry Division to drive revenue growth, profitability,

and client satisfaction.

● Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships

with key national accounts. Serve as clients' primary point of contact, ensuring

their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

● Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate

sector. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand AVI Foodsystems' presence

and market share.

● Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with national accounts, ensuring

favorable terms and conditions for AVI Foodsystems and clients.

● Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of account managers and sales

professionals. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous

improvement.

● Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of service delivery across all national

accounts. Work closely with operations teams to maintain quality and consistency,

particularly in corporate dining, micro markets, and vending services.

● Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of national accounts,

including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure alignment with overall company

financial goals.

● Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends,

opportunities, and competitive threats. Use insights to inform strategic decision-making.


Qualifications:


● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

● Minimum of 10 years of experience in national account management, sales, or business

development within the food service, hospitality, or related industries.

● Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

● Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

● Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

● Ability to travel to meet with clients and support account management activities.
