Job Purpose

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will help define how we evolve our brand strategy as we grow across new audiences and across territories. This role will be essential to defining and expressing our tone of voice and positioning to our customers and key stakeholders and translating that into exceptional creative delivery across all channels and mediums.


Responsibilities


  • Lead brand strategy development and evolution to build awareness and favorability with new audiences and existing customers.
  • Own all marketing elements of Britbox global brand including look, feel and tone of voice.
  • Lead development of brand campaign planning and brand calendar.
  • Lead and manage a high performing team servicing the global BBI regions across core marketing functions including Brand Strategy, Creative Design, Copy, Video Content & Production and Creative Operations, motivating teams to drive exceptional creative work and innovative thinking.
  • Key creative marketing thought leader in developing compelling, innovative storytelling and executing an integrated marketing and communications strategy at the brand level to ensure connectivity and consistency globally across customer experience touch points including: TV, product, digital, social, experiential, online, and print.
  • Translate and articulate brand strategy into creative guidance and feedback to internal team and outside agency partners to create promos, social assets and specialty brand initiatives to elevate the creative across all asset types through all phases of development and finishing approvals to ensure all elements are on brand and aligned with campaign and brand strategy.
  • Create a culture of creative excellence and a high standard of professionalism, brand stewardship and strong business acumen across the brand and creative service team.
  • Spark big ideas that drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention, obtain buy-in and effectively and efficiently implement ideas at scale.
  • Oversee operations and production teams to ensure creative work and output is efficient and effective, and within brand guidelines.
  • Align closely with research teams to incorporate priority consumer insight studies and track brand health.
  • Present to senior leadership regularly to update on key brand metrics and progress of creative development; set mechanisms to operationalize timely status updates for campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal and external cross-functional stakeholders, including research, growth, lifecycle and international teams, to ensure overall global success.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with appropriate agencies, companies, talent, executive producers, external studios and other relevant global stakeholders to forward our brand position.

  • Creatively led individual with demonstrated ability to use qualitative insights & quantifiable data to build brand strategies and translate to dynamic creative.
  • Self-starter who can power through challenges and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment.
  • Excellent strategy, analytical, leadership and presentation development skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, strong relationships internally with frequent collaboration, clear communication and consistency in developing impactful strategies.
  • Superb work ethic and positive, can-do attitude


Qualifications and Experience


  • Bachelor degree (Master's preferred) is desirable
  • High level of experience in brand strategy and creative marketing either agency side or at a brand, ideally with experience in paid media and entertainment.
  • A proven track record of building multi-channel customer communications that deliver & exceed business goals


Salary Range: $175 - 200K base salary + competitive benefits + bonus potential

Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
