VP Asset Management (Agency/GSE Multifamily Construction)

Hybrid: 3 days in office in NYC

Responsibilities:

• This role will operate as a player-coach for the team. Leading while handling asset management (& asset mgmt adjacent) duties
• Asset management work will include (among other duties) modifications, monitoring & risk rating for large multifamily GSE/Agency (Fannie/Freddie) deals
• Will be handling large construction deals ($250MM-$1B)
• The VP of GSE Construction is responsible for the development of the GSE construction team through training and process improvements
• This position will work closely with the VP GSE Asset Management.
• This position is responsible for managing the overall portfolio performance and risk monitoring/rating for substantial rehab loans.
• This position’s focus will be split between internal and external stakeholders with responsibilities that may cross platforms and departments.

Qualifications:

• Ideally seeking 8+ years of relevant experience
• NYC construction loan experience is a must
• Extensive construction draw/disbursement experience is required
• Extensive GSE/Agency multifamily experience is a must
• Knowledge & experience working with the following NY entities is required: HPD, HDC, NYCHA
• Bachelors required
