Requirements
- Extensive experience in leading accounting operations, including month-end close and financial statement production
- Preferred: Experience with multi-entity management and/or M&A integration work
- Strong technical accounting skills, with a preference for familiarity with B2C businesses
- Elevate internal processes related to the “order-to-cash” cycle and purchase price accounting
- With multiple service lines across numerous metro markets, the leadership team seeks someone who can track, improve, and take a prescriptive approach to process and financial reporting
- Manage blue-collar home services
- This high-level executive role requires a hands-on, high-growth mindset
- Must be willing to get hands dirty and navigate strategically
- Must be proactive and willing to roll up sleeves to get things done
- Ask insightful questions, challenge the business, and propose solutions and improvements
- Highly curious, always looking for value-add opportunities and ways to improve
- Optimize accounting operations for efficiency
- Oversee streamlined month-end procedures
- Manage a diverse team of 12 accountants
- Produce concise financial statements for stakeholders
- Drive due diligence in acquisition processes
- Facilitate seamless financial integration post-acquisitions
- Innovate budgeting strategies for growth
- Spearhead board initiatives and reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax services
- Collaborate across departments for informed financial decisions
- Lead technical accounting projects with precision
