Description
The VP, Account Management, at Allegiance Group + Pursuant is a key part of our Client Experience service team within the Agency and is a member of the Agency's senior leadership team. The position reports directly to the EVP, Client Experience, and oversees an important group of team members bridging the gap between Project Management and Strategy responsibilities, comprised of Associate Vice Presidents (Personnel Managers), Directors, and Senior Account Managers. The Account Management team members are responsible for a portfolio of clients with varying degrees of strategy and account management tasks within their client projects, based on their experience level and channel expertise.
In this role, you will collaborate with the EVP, Client Experience, the VP, Client Strategy, and the AVP, Project Management with a focus on client satisfaction, client program health, fundraising strategy acumen, and process adoption. The ideal candidate is a senior fundraising strategist with a vision for team growth and scalability; a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset; an eye for detail; and a hunger for learning and professional growth.
Prior nonprofit fundraising agency experience is a must. Previous experience building and leading teams with responsibilities for recruiting and onboarding new team members is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
As the Account Management/Client Experience Service Line Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with other Client Experience team leadership to establish processes for the Account Management team that foster efficiency, successful outcomes, and enable continued positive experiences for our clients
- Maintaining a view and understanding of account management service line profitability and team members' billable utilization targets related to yourself and your down-line
- Monitoring staffing resources, determining staffing assignments for new and ongoing work, and anticipating additional hiring needs based on the sales pipeline
- Identifying and directing nonbillable projects for staff when billable work is not available
- Communicating staffing decisions to Account Management team members
- Representing Account Management team in Senior Leadership Team meetings and providing thoughtful solutions and recommendations for agency health and growth
- Owning a small strategy portfolio and providing client support to team members as a senior strategist (50% billable target: 25% assigned portfolio and 25% non-assigned client support)
- Providing thought leadership through corporate marketing channels, including blogging, webinars, social, conference speaking, and other
- Collaborating with other Client Experience team leadership to drive education and team growth in best practices and emerging areas of fundraising and marketing
- Managing a team of Associate Vice Presidents (Personnel Managers), Directors, and Senior Account Managers, including recommended hiring, termination, corrective action, or performance reviews for members of the team
- Setting and providing input to quarterly and annual goals for the Account Management team members
- Advocating on behalf of the Account Management team
- Providing mentorship and supporting professional development opportunities in collaboration with VP, Client Strategy and AVP, Project Management to grow team members in both account management and strategy best practices
- Maintaining team satisfaction – working to ensure that your team members are thriving and identifying any areas of dissatisfaction
