Role Description
We are looking for a Video Editor to help with the content for live shows and comedians featured on the show. This is ideal for candidates who are experienced in editing 4-6 projects per week in the form of 30 second to 2 minute videos. Projects 2 minutes or longer will be given a 3+ day notice. Shorter projects may be requested on the same day or 24-48 hour notice.
Qualification & Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years in for visual storytelling and possess a strong skill set in video production and editing
Capable of taking an idea or task and executing with very little supervision
Strong understanding of meeting deadlines and quick turnarounds
Familiarity with editing to understand how to move the flow of images and limited on-screen action, to create a desirable viewing experience
Knowledgeable and passionate about creating a variety of stories from a comedic and/or urban perspective
Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, or Adobe After Effects for editing and post-production
Ensure all video projects align with brand guidelines and objectives
Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling visual narratives
