We are currently seeking a driven individual for the following position:
Founded by Jean Touitou in 1987, A.P.C. is an authentic French label accessible by design, price, and outlook. Initially, the label was famous for very classic, raw denim jeans, but now includes a complete collection of clothing and accessories for men and women, which embodies an effortless cool.
Position Summary: The Visual Merchandising Coordinator will maintain the visual standards of the A.P.C. brand by adapting merchandising strategies to each environment through a strong understanding of the US landscape. In partnership with the Merchandising department, the coordinator will own and manage the implementation of all regional visual merchandising guidelines.
Description:
Manage the image and brand identity for US retail stores and wholesale corners by adhering to A.P.C. global standards.
Motivate the team through empowerment, energy, and creativity.
Lead/execute all East Coast district rotations. Lead all West Coast district rotations remotely and support in-person execution of the West Coast district rotations at least once quarterly.
Oversee and approve the implementation of displays for final approval from headquarters.
Work with all vendors needed to execute rotations, collection launches, and events.
Visit all NY stores weekly to seek feedback to plan, prepare and implement additional display adjustments to facilitate positive sales results based on the business and market needs.
Communicate directives and provide constructive feedback to Store Managers and/or Store Visual personnel to empower store teams to own their own business.
Build and manage the US VM Budget, including the accurate forecasting of expenses, including travel.
Stay up-to-date and respond to interoffice communication while ensuring important creative needs and business initiatives reach all team levels. Respond promptly to emails and set regular touch bases as needed.
Share implementation planning; which location & when.
Store opening and closing experience.
You can effectively communicate specific market needs to the global HQ through consistent contact.
Elevate the visual store experience through a forward-thinking approach to merchandising.
Strong understanding of brand standards, the retail landscape, and local consumers while implementing visual directives and company initiatives across all stores.

30% to 40% Travel: Monthly and Quarterly based on business needs—domestic travel willing to adapt schedules based on business needs, special projects/events, and new store openings.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and utilize ladders up 13 feet tall
A meticulous level of attention to detail in all endeavors
Proficient G Suite and the knowledge or willingness to learn Adobe Suite
Multi-location, project management experience
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2 to 3 years of Visual Merchandising experience
Minimum three years of people management experience preferred
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
