Visual Designer
WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Visual Designer who will be responsible for supporting the team in raising awareness of our activities by creating conference experiences that promote various Health products. This could be in the form of short videos, interactive experiences, and infographics. You will create additional conference materials like brochures and posters.
The Digital Health team (DHT) is a product and research team that designs, implements, and validates user experience for high-profile, consumer electronics product lines and future technologies in the healthcare space. Our work drives the key features, products, and systems in our products and services. Most of our work focuses on mobile and wearable healthcare applications that offer user benefits made possible through collaborative technologies at a global scale worldwide (from TVs to the future of Business and Home & Lifestyle family of digital appliances and services, to mobile and watch sensor systems).
The UX team is made up of UX Designers, UX Researchers, and UX Writers. We build products and features using an iterative approach by leveraging user feedback to improve our UI/UX at key points in the development cycle. The UX team works closely with Product Managers, Regulatory Advisors, and Research Engineers, depending on the project.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Help the team to prepare for key conferences by providing visual experiences on a range of devices.
- Comprehend the products/features showcased at the conference.
- Contribute to ideation and development of methods for attendees to interact with and gain knowledge about our Health products.
Required Experience and Education:
- 3+ years’ experience in creating materials for conferences such as videos, interactive experiences, brochures, posters, and other collateral.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Ability to tell a story through a visual experience.
- High proficiency in visual design and an online portfolio with successful designs/product work.
- (Preferred) Previous experience creating conference materials.
- (Preferred) Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript.
- (Preferred) Experience with designing for connected home user experience or IoT
