REBOOT Recovery (REBOOT) is a Christian, faith-based non-profit 501(c)3 organization that exists to help people overcome trauma through small group courses around the world. We have served over 20,000 individuals through our peer-led courses and are mobilizing the largest faith-based response to trauma and suicide ever built.
EXPLANATION OF DUTIES
As a Visual Content Creator, you will work with our marketing team to create engaging videos, photos, and other rich media content designed to tell the story of REBOOT Recovery. Content will include course videos, promotional videos, reels, podcasts, testimonials, rudimentary animations, and events coverage. You will be driven by the opportunity to lead production from conceptualization through completion, owning your projects while working closely with the marketing team on the creative process. Your work will be showcased on various platforms including the company’s website, LMS, social media channels, and events.
You will be motivated to search out new ways to create compelling content that highlights the quality of the program and brand story to engage new and existing customers. You will craft enticing visual messaging as easily consumable content that fits the overall feel and tone of a range of social channels and platforms.
You will have access to our on-site studio space and equipment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Create visually stunning photo and video content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice and values.
Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and distribute high-quality visuals for use on digital platforms, including social media, websites, and other promotional materials.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, programs, research, and development, to ensure a seamless integration of visual content into broader campaigns.
Stay informed about visual trends in photography and videography, industry updates, and content marketing best practices to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into visual content creation that align with marketing strategies.
Execute photo and video productions featuring both internal employees and program Leaders and Participants.
Shoot photo and video content using quality production gear, staging sets using professional lighting equipment and audio equipment.
Travel to capture and tell the story of our events and partnerships.
Create storyboards to quickly validate video and photo ideas.
Maintain and organize visual media content libraries.
Design rudimentary graphics/animations that enhance media projects and campaigns.
Think critically about overall strategy, key messaging and content design based on key markets and audiences.
Be informed on industry news and ongoing projects to ideate, introduce unique story concepts, and leverage online content development opportunities.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of your efforts, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in photography, Videography, Visual Arts, or a related field or 2+ years of video story design and production experience – Final Cut Pro X, Adobe CC Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition)
A portfolio showcasing diverse visual content creation skills across different platforms
Knowledge on driving growth and engagement on social media through video.
Must be able to travel occasionally
Proficient in digital photography and photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
Able to conceptualize and share ideas/creative concepts
Strong storytelling and communication skills with a focus on conveying messages through visuals
Experience creating high-quality motion graphics and using other emerging rich-media technologies
Excellent written communication skills, including scriptwriting
