The Opportunity:
The Department of Media Production, Management and Technology (MPMT) at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications is seeking applications for a non-tenured Visiting Lecturer position, starting August 2024. The person in this position will play a vital role in the media management program, bringing industry expertise directly into the classroom. They will contribute to updating the curriculum for courses in media management. Preference will be given to candidates who can emphasize entertainment media development and/or distribution.

- Teaching and/or developing at least three courses a semester in the Management & Strategy and/or Media & Society tracks of the department and/or for the College’s Graduate Division as assigned.
- Mentoring MPMT students, assisting in their academic and professional growth.
- Completing service tasks, including participating in faculty meetings and discussions about curriculum changes, and creating workshops targeted toward MPMT students about navigating the job market/workplace.
