The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (SCCJ) at Northeastern University (https://cssh.northeastern.edu/sccj/) is seeking to fill a two-semester Visiting Lecturer position to start Fall 2024. We are particularly interested in candidates with the expertise to teach courses in the area of psychology and crime in addition to more general criminal justice offerings. Housed within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, SCCJ brings together more than 20 research-oriented scholars and distinguished practitioners on the cutting edge of interdisciplinary research and criminal justice policy. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to and experience in undergraduate teaching. In addition to experience in teaching courses related to criminology and criminal justice administration, candidates should indicate their interest and relevant expertise in additional courses in the areas of law and psychology and race, crime, and justice.
Candidates should have demonstrated commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive environments as well as to promoting experiential learning, which are central to a Northeastern University education.
