Televeda is an online platform dedicated to combating loneliness and social isolation by providing engaging and interactive experiences for seniors. We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging instructor to virtually host classes that help our community members improve their balance, flexibility, and overall well-being.
Role Overview:
As a Virtual Tai Chi Instructor, you will lead approximately one class per week, helping participants enhance their balance, flexibility, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead virtual Tai Chi classes in a fun, patient, and successful manner, ensuring participants of various physical abilities are engaged and enjoying the experience.
Connect with individuals of various ages, locations, and personalities to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Prepare thoroughly for each class, utilizing various platforms to advertise and promote sessions.
Assist with participant engagement and explore opportunities to enhance class success.
Scheduling Details: Tai Chi classes can be scheduled according to what works best for you.
Qualifications:
Energetic and fun personality with the ability to create an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
Patience and excellent communication skills for leading virtual classes.
Ability to connect with and engage a diverse audience.
Must have a computer with fast internet access and a camera that works well to successfully show Tai Chi during class.
Compensation:
$40/hr for hosting classes
Contract Position: This is a contract position subject to termination at any time, depending on the success and attendance of the classes. Continuation of the role is contingent upon the positive reception and regular participation in the classes.
