Key Responsibilities

Take on the role of lead teacher across various grade levels and core subject areas, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience for students.

Dedicate yourself to achieving ambitious goals related to student academic progress, social-emotional growth, and state-specific educational standards.

Deliver engaging live lessons via web conferencing, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students and grounded in evidence-based instructional strategies.

Set up and maintain course materials within our Learning Management System, providing seamless access to resources for both students and colleagues.

Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses, offering timely feedback and assessment to support ongoing learning.

Foster strong communication and connection with each student, prioritizing individualized support and mentorship.

Collaborate closely with school leadership to generate and share progress reports, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.

Utilize data-driven insights to refine instructional approaches and meet the evolving needs of students.

Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture, integrating culturally responsive teaching practices and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Actively participate in school-wide initiatives and events, both virtually and in person, to promote student engagement and community involvement.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating humility and respect in all interactions.

Requirements

Possession of a valid state teaching license in the relevant subject area.

Familiarity with State Standards and Common Core Standards, with a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.

Ideally, a minimum of two years of teaching experience, demonstrating a track record of success in student achievement.

Comfort working within a collaborative coaching environment, embracing feedback and opportunities for professional growth.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and maintain professional integrity.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and supervise students in various settings.

Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks.
