If you are a dog trainer looking to fill your off hours or move to a fully remote dog training position, Homeschool will provide you the flexibility and client load to do so. Our innovative technology and support team will handle all of the administrative details so you can focus on what you love and train at your best. As a premium emerging service, we are very selective with our trainers and will only consider serious applications with video examples of training experience (either with past clients or mock recorded sessions with your dog).

Role Description

We are looking for part-time contract virtual dog trainers with at least 10 hours available each week during week day evenings (4 PM - 9 PM) and weekends. You will handle the following:

• Conduct remote training sessions at 45 minutes each with dogs and their owners via video call.
• Develop training plans using our templates and video library to solve behavioral issues from standard puppy obedience to complex behavioral modification
• Text clients throughout the week to check in and progress and analyze videos they submit

Qualifications

• Force-free positive R+ trainers with up-to-date certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in dog training and behavior
• Must have 10 available hours / week (nights and weekends)
• Ability to develop and implement training plans tailored to behavioral issues
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in virtual training platforms
• Excellent virtual communication skills, with the ability to understand online material and explain concepts and techniques effectively to dog owners over video chat.
• High-speed Internet and Newer, Distraction Free Home Office with Computer Set Up (for WFH Options) Phones and tablets will not work, a computer/laptop is required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Patient and compassionate when working with both dogs and their owners
