About The Opportunity
As a teacher with us, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Here's what you'll be doing:
Serve as the primary instructor for students, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
Utilize a blend of technology and various teaching methods to deliver engaging lessons aligned with our curriculum.
Plan and execute instructional plans, adapting them as needed to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals, providing support and encouragement along the way.
Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment, resolving conflicts effectively and modeling positive behavior.
Keep accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Assist in student recruitment and retention efforts as directed.
About You
We're looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Resident of Michigan.
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
Current Michigan teaching license in relevant content areas and grade bands.
Strong content knowledge in one or more subject areas.
Familiarity with the Response to Intervention (RTI) process is a plus.
Prior Experience In Online Teaching Preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications such as Google Docs, MS Office Suite, and internet tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's growth.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
