As the Videographer & Video Editor at Jazwares, you will dive into every aspect of video production with enthusiasm and creativity. Your role will involve handling a variety of video assignments, from capturing footage and editing videos to designing graphics and refining sound, ensuring that every project meets Jazwares' high-quality standards and is delivered on time. Additionally, you will assist with setting up equipment for both on-site and remote video shoots, making sure everything runs smoothly. This role is all about bringing stories to life through compelling visuals and dynamic editing!

What you will do:

  • Execute product and lifestyle videography as assigned by the video manager.
  • Create 360’s, sizzle reels, event recaps, and corporate presentation materials using Premiere Pro to edit videos from start to finish.
  • Direct shots as needed.
  • Responsible for all footage processing, including but not limited to file conversion, color correction, and storage management.
  • Create and edit motion graphics on applicable projects using Adobe After Effects Pro.
  • Manage all assigned projects, including working within our project management and digital asset management systems.
  • Attend scheduled meetings to discuss team projects and revisions with other company members.
  • Follow all project templates as outlined by the video manager.
  • Optimize personal storage and digital asset management.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a final product that meets requirements and specifications. Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in art, film, digital media, or other related field preferred or commensurate combination of experience and education.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience at a production studio, advertising agency, or similar.
  • Demo reel and/or website demonstrating creative abilities and examples of past work.
  • Proficient in Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Proficiency in creating and editing motion graphics.
  • Experience in directing shots and processing footage, including file conversion and storage management.
  • Strong visual skills with attention to detail and an eye for consistency and color.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work quickly without sacrificing overall image quality.
  • Eagerness to move fast, take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test, and learn.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills.
  • Team player who can take direction and execute against it with little assistance, comfortable working independently.
  • Effectively present ideas - both verbally and visually.
  • Meet with clients, internal and external, to understand needs and share ideas.
  • Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines.
