Overview

DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. Position Summary

The Videographer/Producer Produces and directs various promotional, event-based, and/or documentary material for the University's marketing and communications efforts. This individual is responsible for conceptual story boarding, filming, and editing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Mac computers and video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects
• Knowledge of broadcasting production techniques, broadcasting rules and regulations
• Works collaboratively with marketing team members to leverage video on social media, Desales.edu, and other channels. Help manage the University's YouTube Channel.
• Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously to deliver high-quality video projects in a timely manner, on a tight deadline when needed
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; proven ability to work well with colleagues in a collaborative atmosphere
• Knowledge of copyright/intellectual property rules and regulations, specifically with regards to images and music used in videos
• Still photography skills a plus
• Familiarity with and experience operating a DSLR camera packages and full ranges of lenses.
• Part 107 license/ Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA or willingness to train preferred
• Widen Digital Asset Management experience a plus
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
