The Role

Fidelity’s Social Media team is in search of a Videographer/Editor to support our flagship social handles. A curious, visual problem solver, you understand how to shoot and edit captivating content for the social space. You tap into trends, both cultural and financial, to generate likes, follows, and dialog. You are a collaborator whose passion for social media, both personally and professionally, is obvious and infectious. You understand the subtle differences of how to shoot and edit for TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin, and everything in between. And you're not afraid of testing boundaries, pushing the work to craft novel, thumb-stopping content that engages followers and prospects. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, primarily crafting video and animations for organic social. Direction can change in a heartbeat, and you will take each change in stride, leading with a cool head and a logical mind to deliver something that will make everyone proud to be on the team with you. Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of shooting, editing and animation experience with a post house or agency
  • Ability to direct, shoot and light using professional video equipment and cameras
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. Familiarity with DaVinci is helpful
  • VFX skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and the specifics of creating and delivering for them
  • Ability to take direction and be a positive, collaborative force on the team
  • Capacity to work on multiple projects while maintaining a well-organized workflow
  • Candidates without a reel will not be considered

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
