Currently based in Calabasas, Los Angeles & Miami, Squlpt is rapidly expanding. Our online and social media growth has been fueled by the creation of compelling photo and video content. With a focus on an elevated and highly aesthetic digital content style, we aim to educate our audience on the uniqueness of our SoftSqulpt® technology, the benefits of our procedures, and of course, the “wow” factor of our results.

With more than 800k Instagram followers and growing, Squlpt is searching for an experienced, creative videographer to join our Miami clinic, take our content to the next level, and continually push the creative envelope for our digital media. We are seeking candidates who have a joy for what they do and who will continually push themselves creatively to represent our brand in unique and novel ways.

The selected candidate will work closely with our founder, plastic surgeons, and social media team to help create exciting, compelling content, including but not limited to patient stories, procedural videos, behind-the-scenes content, and informational content shot with our founder. This role focuses on creating social-first content and involves capturing the day-to-day activities of our founder to make engaging and authentic videos.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Capture and produce high-quality video content that showcases the patient experience from start to finish.
  • Film and edit content that feels like a mini reality show, highlighting the day-to-day activities of our founder and the clinic.
  • Coordinate and conduct multi-site shoots for patient testimonials and other promotional content.
  • Create engaging social media content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube that aligns with our brand’s voice and aesthetic.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop video content strategies and storyboards.
  • Direct and guide patients and staff during shoots to ensure natural and authentic footage.
  • Edit video footage to produce polished, professional videos with quick turnaround times for various platforms including social media, our website, and marketing campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technology into your work.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to shoot and edit high-quality video content.
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Experience with social media platforms and creating content tailored for these channels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different filming environments.
  • Energetic and ambitious, with a proactive approach to capturing compelling content.
  • Must be able to transport and handle video equipment for multi-site shoots.


CANDIDATE PROFILE:

The ideal candidate should be skilled and knowledgeable in best practice for photography, videography, video editing, and creative storytelling for social media. They will constantly seek new, creative and innovative ways to tell compelling and engaging patient stories.

The selected candidate will truly love making and editing, especially for social media platforms, including, but not limited to Instagram, YouTube & TikTok. As an expert on set and in the editing room, the selected candidate will be flexible enough to plan ahead of procedures but adapt on the fly when they identify great content. The candidate will know when to be like a fly on the wall and when to take over and guide the patient for certain video and photo shots. They will truly grasp what it takes to create a video from start to finish and have a great aesthetic eye.


Lending their creative mind, technique and expertise in videography, the selected candidate will be responsible for the overall content production of each video. They must have an exceptional understanding of camera, lighting and sound setup and direct the patients/doctors to capture the most compelling footage. They will also interview patients and doctors to extrapolate the content needed to create compelling and engaging videos.

On the post-production side, the selected candidate will be partnering with the video editing team so must have some practical knowledge on editing. The selected candidate will also be responsible to ensure the video shots are exceptional in quality, by ensuring the best lighting, content capture and overall storytelling.

With a creative eye, the content will focus on the patient’s physical transformation, and just as important, they will capture the story behind each patient and bring their journey to light to tell a unique, inspiring and fun story. We want our patients to shine.

The selected candidate understands all the magical elements that go into creating compelling and exciting content. Working alongside the marketing department, the selected candidate will ensure that the brand voice is clearly articulated across all video content, in a manner that builds community engagement.

Please be accustomed to working in a fast-paced agency environment, and be willing to switch work streams, and take on multiple projects simultaneously. A team player with excellent time management and communication skills and will be ready to take direction and receive constructive feedback from colleagues and leadership. And most importantly, will demonstrate a joy for what they do!


QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

  • At least 3 years of video production.
  • An understanding of the setup and use of cinematic cameras
  • High level command of sound and lighting setup for video production.
