Video Production Specialist

Overview:

Venz Media is seeking a dynamic and creative Production Specialist to join our team. The Production Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of video production, including scriptwriting, filming, editing, and post-production tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, strong technical skills in video production tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to bring creative visions to life.

Responsibilities:

1. Video Production: Lead the production process from concept to completion, including planning, shooting, and editing high-quality videos for various platforms and purposes.
2. Scriptwriting: Develop engaging and compelling scripts that align with project objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines. Translate concepts and ideas into concise and impactful scripts for video content.
3. Storyboarding: Create storyboards and shot lists to visualize the narrative flow and composition of each video project. Ensure that visual elements effectively convey the intended message and engage the audience.
4. Filming: Execute on-location and studio-based filming, including camera setup, lighting, sound recording, and directing talent when necessary. Maintain high production standards and attention to detail throughout the filming process.
5. Editing: Utilize industry-standard editing software to assemble raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos. Enhance visual and audio elements, add graphics and effects, and ensure seamless transitions to create a cohesive final product.
6. Post-Production: Manage post-production tasks such as color correction, audio mastering, and finalizing video files for distribution across multiple platforms. Collaborate with team members to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.
7. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of video content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Identify and address any technical or creative issues that may arise during the production process.
8. Project Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and freelance contributors to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Maintain organized project files and documentation to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration.
9. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production, scriptwriting, and editing. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and expand knowledge in relevant areas.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in Film Production, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
• Proven experience in video production, scriptwriting, and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Excellent storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual composition and aesthetics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in digital media production and distribution.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position based at our 1052 E Indian School Rd suite 2, Phoenix, AZ 85014 office.
• Occasional travel may be required for on-location filming or client meetings.
