The Video Producer will develop and execute the company’s video communications strategy with a strong emphasis on growing and enhancing the visibility of assorted brands under the Mazzella Companies portfolio. Additionally, the Video Producer will produce weekly video content, from start to finish, that aligns with digital marketing campaigns. Video campaigns will focus on generating traffic, acquiring customers, educating buyers, aligning with sales campaigns, and driving engagement with our current customer and social subscriber base.
Responsibilities
Develop/Publish a minimum of two videos per week to YouTube/company websites
Work through every part of the process from pre-production to post-production
Deliver high-quality video creation including concept, storyboard, script, and hands-on production (direct, light, shoot, and edit for both short-form and long-form weekly videos)
Create content that arms our Sales teams with educational resources they can use during the buyer’s journey
Collaborate with a team of Marketing, business unit leaders, Sales, and technical product specialists to create messaging that aligns with company goals and helps solve business challenges
Interview subject matter experts, on and off camera, to gather the required information/assets for productions
Monitor/Optimize video campaigns using tools like Hubspot, Wistia, and YouTube
Organize/Manage video assets in a library/archive
Manage/Prioritize multiple tasks/projects with a sense of urgency
Monitor/Report key metrics/analytics for the company’s video-hosting platforms
Work with industrial products
Manage video execution to successfully implement new marketing initiatives/product launches
Remain current on digital video trends, equipment, and best practices
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Associates’ or Bachelors’ degree in Digital Media Production, Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts, or Journalism preferred. In the absence of a degree, related job experience serving in a video production, freelance, or broadcast journalism role. Years of experience, and proven knowledge, may offset the degree requirement.
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 years B2B, B2C, or work as a Videographer/Editor.
Required Skills
Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand videos.
Competency in pre-production: including script writing, scheduling, shot listing.
Experience shooting original content using cinema cameras, capturing professional audio, and utilizing lighting best practices.
High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effect
Familiar with best practices and asset specifications for YouTube and other social media platforms.
Ability to present/explain design ideas/decisions effectively.
Able to prioritize/manage work to adhere to critical project timelines.
Possess a strong portfolio of prior video experience.
Proven ability to conceptualize a finished video with the input of a subject matter expert.
Proven oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated active listening skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables.
Preferred Skills
Experience in shared storage and archival solutions.
Ability to use the Adobe Creative Suite including Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Experience working within corporate branding and content style guidelines.
