About the Role
Kinetic Brands is hiring a talented Video & Photo Editor to join our growing creative team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in editing both videos and photos, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics. If you’ve got a knack for spotting the tiniest details and a sixth sense for what looks stunning, you might just be our perfect match! This role will be responsible for editing visually compelling content that resonates with our audience and enhances our brand’s image. This role reports to our Creative Director.
You will
Collaborate closely with creative and brand teams to support major product and brand initiatives, ensuring consistent brand guidelines are represented in all assets regardless of type
Edit video & photo footage for all product launches and brand initiatives - with a priority focus on website, social, and ad content
Edit raw footage into long and short form social media content - including but not limited to color correction, formatting, cropping, text/logo overlays, audio mixing
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to keep content fresh and relevant
Manage any changes in scope of work, schedule, and the overall project to ensure timely delivery and content
Communicate across teams directly about requests, timelines, and progress
Assist in file organization and sharing across team and stakeholders
You have
3+ years of video & photo editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects
Proficiency in video editing (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects) and photo editing (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) and other post-production techniques
Ability to adapt editing styles to suit various platforms and target audiences
Strong understanding of color correction and color grading
Ability to take strategic direction and turn it into compelling creative content
Excellent organizational skills with professional file handling and management
Ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong communication skills to effectively work across cross-functional teams
