Responsibilities

• Design & Optimize: Enhance streaming experiences across various devices, including web, mobile, and TV.
• Full Development Lifecycle: Engage in requirements gathering, design, build, test, and maintain phases of software development.
• Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, backend services, and operations teams to drive video streaming initiatives.
• Product Ownership: Oversee streaming products, developing tools to improve stream quality and delivery.
• Code Quality: Write clean, modular code that is testable and scalable.

Qualifications

• Streaming Media: Experience with live/VOD streaming, streaming technologies (HLS), video QoE metrics, ABR algorithms, and video player frameworks.
• Ad Insertion & OTT: Exposure to Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) platforms and OTT integrations.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional Experience: Proven track record with software development processes and tools, including Agile methodologies, IDEs, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and test frameworks.
• System Support: Experience working with senior engineers on large-scale production systems.
• Event-Driven Systems: Knowledge of patterns, best practices, and operational experience.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with containerized cloud platforms (Docker/Kubernetes and GCP/AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
