The purpose of this position is to set up, operate and monitor analog, digital and High Definition video signals for productions as well as assisting with camera operations at NEP Studios.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Set up, operate and maintain a good quality video signal and output.
Perform trouble shooting with video equipment for the studio during live or remote taping.
Ensure proper set-up of cameras and other related video equipment.
Monitor and adjust signals using spectrum analyzers, video waveform monitors, etc.
Configure and set-up broadcast studio cameras for use in daily operations.
Ensure proper configuration of camera robotics systems.
Configure and optimize multiple broadcast and satellite feed/receive links for audio and video quality.
Monitor and adjust signals using state of the art equipment such as spectrum analyzers, video waveform monitors, and audio/video/data analyzers.
Document quality standards, system anomalies, operational procedures, and reference materials.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Associates or Technical Degree preferred. Various forms of education and experience will be considered.
2 years of technical experience required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with video signal generating equipment.
Excellent computer skills and experience with a live, multi-camera room preferred.
