Video Engineer

We are looking for a Video Engineer IV for a global music corporation client in Nashville, TN for a 12 month contract.

Description

This role is responsible for supporting global Creative operations in our Nashville office. Primary workflows include a range of non-linear editing tasks, capturing live content, pseudo and lyric video creation, promo/sizzle reel builds, video content QC and remediation, transcoding, and any related administrative services

• Act as a creative and technical operator for video production and post-production workflows
• Capture live concert, b-roll, behind the scenes, and promo footage on behalf of artists and management
• Efficiently utilize a wide range of VFX, video, audio, and ancillary production and post-production tools
• Update and maintain content metadata for incoming assets, utilizing 3rd party and proprietary tracking and asset management systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of editing and VFX experience in the digital video sector
• Expertise in post workflows utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve, thorough working knowledge of video editing, encoding, audio and video mastering and their common failures and technical challenges on Mac based environment
• Experience working with digital cameras, lenses, and peripherals strongly preferred
• Current shift schedule is 8 am-5 pm (may be subject to change due to business demands)

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $30.00-$32.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
