Pay Rate/Range: $32.00
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Onsite in Nashville, TN
Duration: 1 year
- Act as a creative and technical operator for video production and post-production workflows
- Capture live concert, b-roll, behind the scenes, and promo footage on behalf of artists and management
- Conceptualize and execute unique VFX animations for task-specific challenges on behalf of our labels and artists under tight deadlines
- Efficiently utilize a wide range of VFX, video, audio, and ancillary production and post-production tools
- Create layered separations from flattened image files and composite new elements into existing media
- Color match and correct mixed media sources into existing source material
- Edit, compress and quality check assets for subsequent productization and archive
- Update and maintain content metadata for incoming assets, utilizing 3rd party and proprietary tracking and asset management systems
- Review (and create) automated + manual Master QC reports with a strong attention to detail
- Make sound, independent decisions, and know when to escalate issues
- Cross train other team members in standard operating procedures for Creative workflows
- 5+ years of editing and VFX experience in the digital video sector
- Thorough working knowledge of video editing, encoding, audio and video mastering and their common failures and technical challenges
- Experience working with digital cameras, lenses, and peripherals strongly preferred
- Expertise in post workflows utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge and fluency in Blender desired
- The aptitude to normalize, modify, and prepare file-based content to defined specifications and workflows
- In-depth knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting in a Mac-based work environment with a variety of 3rd party applications
- Keen knowledge of production/post-production infrastructure requirements as it relates to enabling overall supply chain workflows
- Ability to provide constructive feedback around practices, tools and methods related to video production and post-production
- Outgoing, creative thinker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, as needed, to meet the needs of our labels and partners. Current shift schedule is 8 am-5 pm (may be subject to change due to business demands)
