Lifeway is hiring a Video Editor | Remote that serves the Lifeway Media team. This role will support the work of Lifeway through post-production, crafting edits that maintain Lifeway's high quality standard and brand accuracy. This position will assist in providing quick and professional edits to ensure fast turnaround times for the Creative Media team's high volume of work, especially regarding Lifeway's Hyfi curriculum .

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.
Responsibilities
Edits videos
Collaborates with internal and external departments to accomplish various tasks and projects
Maintains video editing rooms, systems, and equipment
Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems
Monitors and maintains production dates and budgets
Infrequent t ravel may be required
Qualifications
Education
BFA – film, communications, or related field preferred or equivalent industry experience
Required Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
3+ years Adobe Editor experience
After Effects experience, strongly preferred
Advanced editing skills, yet adaptive learner of people, systems, processes, practices, and technology
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to meet deadlines and evaluate process to increase production and quality
Must manage multiple priorities and assignments
Exercises strong judgment and leadership in decision making
Member or attending an evangelical Christian church
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Strong background with Mac computers, software, creative plug-ins.
Strong Editing (Adobe Creative Suite), Color Correction (DaVinci Resolve), and Audio (Adobe, iZotope audio plug-ins) skills.
Motion Graphic Design (Adobe, Cinema4D, Maya)
Audio Processing
Understanding of common data storage practices
