Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our creative team. This role is essential in producing high-quality video content that represents our brand and supports our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of video editing techniques and be able to manage projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Take video projects from start to finish, including importing footage, organizing files, pulling selects, editing, music selection, color correction, and minor audio adjustments.
Content Editing: Edit both single and multi-camera content to create cohesive and visually appealing videos.
Compliance: Understand and apply commercial legal disclaimers and compliance requirements to all video content.
Multi-Project Management: Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Footage Organization: Support in organizing and maintaining footage on our server to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
Independent Work: Work independently while effectively collaborating with the team to brainstorm and execute creative video ideas.
Industry Understanding: Stay informed about industry trends, our business goals, and customer preferences to produce relevant and impactful video content.
Requirements
Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a focus on marketing or corporate video content.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
Strong understanding of video production techniques and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with graphic design and motion graphics.
Familiarity with audio editing and sound design.
Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and best practices for various distribution channels.
