Our technology client is looking for a Video Editor to join their team.


This is a 12 month long, full time contract position in Boise, Idaho.


Description:

As the Senior Video Editor you will collaborate with a talented team of videographers editors writers and designers to produce high-quality video content for YouTube social paid digital ads in-store displays and more. If you have excellent storytelling and technical skills we would like to hear from you! The Senior Video Editor is an imaginative and adaptable professional who can help create edit and deliver video content for different platforms. This role demands a mix of technical skills in video production and a keen sense of storytelling to craft engaging visual stories. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within video post-production asset management and archival and experience with production lighting and composition. They must also stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep content fresh and appealing. Strong project management and communication skills are required to meet deadlines and maintain the brand's quality standard.


Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

- Edit raw footage into polished how-to and social videos paid ads for digital marketing in-store display ads and more.

- Building and maintaining organized projects within all post-production software.

- Adhere to brand guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all delivered videos. - Creatively marry video sound and graphics to tell a complete and compelling story. Project Management:

- Maintain consistent communication within project management tools and track all deadlines for assigned tasks.

- Coordinate with other team members e.g. requestors creative leads graphic designers to effectively meet project goals.

Creative Collaboration:

- Provide creative input and collaborative direction during all phases of video production.

- Stay up to date with the latest editing techniques tools and trends to ensure our videos are fresh and innovative.

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts that align with our brand and objectives.

Quality Control:

- Review and revise content to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy.

- Ensure videos are consistent with our brand guidelines and style.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to video editing and production.

- Communicate effectively with management on any technical issues or delays.

- Ensure all delivery specs are met before publishing.

Translations:

- Coordinate and manage translation projects from start to finish.

- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.

- Prep all videos and documents for delivery to translation agency.

- Cut in translated content and coordinate review process for final delivery.

Technical Skills:

- Operate and maintain video editing equipment and software.

- Maintain proper backup and archival of all visual media content.

- Proficiency in video editing/design software such as Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects photoshop etc.

- Knowledge of color correction, sound editing and visual effects.

- Experience in production lighting, camera operation and composition.


Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Film Media or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in video editing.

- Strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle feedback constructively.


**Preferred Qualifications: **

- Familiarity with 3D animation and motion graphics.

- Understanding of social media video formats and trends.

- Experience with global translations.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $30.00-$33.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
