Video Editor

America's Test Kitchen is looking for a talented Video Editor to help create a slate of original video programming for our digital Cooking School, re-launching in 2024 with a new vision and U/X to help cooks of all levels elevate their skills in the kitchen. The ideal candidate has experience editing medium- and long-form videos, a passion for food, proficiency with NLE systems including Premiere, experience with color correction and graphics, keen organizational and project management skills, a knack for creative problem solving, and the ability to adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced creative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Edit medium- and long-form educational videos for ATK’s digital Cooking School, as well as shorter marketing videos and other projects as needed
  • Color correction and basic graphics
  • Manage post-production workflow
  • Work with senior producers and other stakeholders to execute strategy
  • Work with Post-Supervisor on media management
  • Edit videos, working with social, design and other relevant departments
  • Proficiency with NLE systems required (Premiere, After Effects, etc.), including editing, graphics & color correction

Skills And Experience

  • 3+ years of experience editing digital video content
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Must have a collaborative team-oriented mentality along with the ability to work independently and under close direction
  • Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a team environment
  • Culinary video experience and a passion for cooking a plus.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
