We have recently acquired Truffle Shuffle - a dynamic culinary experience company that specializes in creating engaging cooking shows, IG skits, podcasts, and more. Together we are passionate about bringing culinary arts to life through innovative and entertaining content, and excited to make our first new hire as a merged company!

About The Role

We are seeking a talented Video Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filming and editing various types of content, including cooking shows, IG skits, podcasts, and promotional videos. This individual should possess a strong understanding of filming techniques, video editing software, lighting setups, and be able to conceptualize and execute visually appealing and engaging content.

This position will be approximately 24 hours per week to start, with the potential to move into a full time role. Work will be primarily on-site at our test kitchen in Peabody, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Film and edit high-quality video content for cooking shows, IG skits, podcasts, and other digital platforms
  • Collaborate closely with the content team to brainstorm creative ideas and concepts for new projects
  • Ensure all footage and final edits meet Truffle Shuffle's high standards for quality and creativity
  • Manage and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and content creation
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in filming, editing, and storytelling
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and knowledge of color grading and audio mixing techniques
  • Solid understanding of lighting principles and experience in setting up and adjusting lighting equipment for different shooting environments
  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling content
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary or food-related content creation
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, especially Instagram and TikTok
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field

$34 - $36 an hour
