Position Summary

Our marketing team has big plans for all kinds of content, from documenting tradeshows to podcasts, client testimonials and capturing the action of our fire brigade as they chase forest fires around the country!

There’s a lot to do, and we need you to help us make it a reality.

What will we need from you?

In this role as our Video Content Creator, you will have the opportunity to create a wide variety of videos using a structured brand style but also be given the freedom to explore. Insurance requires deep storytelling and examples to visualize scenarios. To successfully execute these stories and scenarios, our team will provide you with the artistic and strategic go-ahead to experiment with different formats and creative ideas.

To meet the demands of the position, you’ll need the following skills:

  • Video editing – long and short-form
  • Video production – field and studio experience preferred
  • Social Media Execution -- Instagram/YouTube
  • Photography/photo editing – Thumbnails
  • Background in creative fields
  • Motion graphic, animation, and design acumen preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Marketing Director to craft and execute content strategies that resonate with our brand and objectives.
  • Engage in comprehensive content creation, video editing, videography, photography, scriptwriting, and graphic and animation design, with proficiency in live and streamed video production.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator with subject matter experts to produce specialized media content.
  • Utilize professional-grade equipment to create high-quality video presentations, selecting optimal audio components such as narration, music, and sound effects.
  • Travel for on-location production work, both in the field and studio settings.
  • Develop educational and informational content for both internal teams and the public audience, ensuring alignment with company messaging.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform production enhancements and collaborate with various teams to develop content that engages our target audience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video, Photography, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ year(s) experience editing video professionally
  • Mastery of Adobe video and photo editing suite (Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop; not required but a bonus: After Effects)
  • Proven track record editing interview, testimonial, and podcast material into long-form and short video clips meant for web and social media accounts.
  • Proven experience with Color correction, Syncing audio, Organizing footage, and Compiling clips into comprehensible stories
  • Passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 based on experience and achievement

Schedule: Regular business hours Monday through Friday at our fantastic facility in Bozeman, Montana. Some travel will be required for documenting natural disaster areas, claim testimonials, tradeshows, and more.
