About The Role

We are looking for a skilled video editor and videographer to make audio-visuals for our Creative Studio team. The role requires an editor who can turn scripts and footage into compelling stories who also has experience as a cinematographer. This will require expertise in working with editing software, as well as creative storytelling and visual presentation as well as experience with filming social/podcasts/live shoots/events and interview. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple camera types such as iPhone, DSLR, Blackmagic, Red and Sony.

What You’ll Do

  • Film for social media, events, podcasts, ad hoc shoots.
  • Editing, Titling, mixing, mastering, and colour correction of final films.
  • Manage and own weekly release of films which includes packaging, ensuring quality checks, creating promotional material, adding poster frames/reel covers.
  • Edit content for studio that ranges from sizzles, social media, mini-docs and episodic content.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure monthly deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Media/ Mass Communication/Journalism/ Visual Design and Films.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in video production and post-production.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere editing tools, After Effects and Photoshop or Final Cut Pro X or Davinci Resolve and knowledge of any basic motion graphics and animation tool is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of best shooting practices, cameras and camera set-ups.
  • Should be a creative thinker with good time-management skills.
  • A deep interest and proven ability in storytelling and critical thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to technical and creative detail.
  • An ability to work in a deadline-driven fast paced environment.
  • Candidate should be ready to work with his own personal setup.

Pay & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75K - $100K yearly. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service. Some benefits are not applicable for Part-Time Employment & outside of the United States.
