Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Vice President, SAP S/4 Transformation Lead will support the Corporate Segment, serving as the business unit’s single point of contact for the SAP S4 Project, ensuring inclusive design decisions and business unit change management are a success. In this role, you will align with your dedicated business unit leaders on functional and data requirements and ensure business critical inputs are incorporated in the system design, while working closely with the SAP S4 Solution Team, and with colleagues across the global Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation ERP Finance Solutions process design for finance and implementation program.
• Provide strategic thinking based on SME for next generation ERP Finance Solutions for master data for finance.
• Translate the Corporate Business Segments needs into fit to standard business process design of SAP S/4 solutions within NBCU Finance function.
• Translate Corporate reporting needs into master data design of SAP S/4 solutions within NBCU Finance function.
• Identify what master and transactional data is required to support future business processes and operational/analytical reporting.
• Interface with the Corporate Business Segments, S/4 Core Team, System Integrator (SI) and O&T to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, tables, objects, master data elements, programs, transactions etc. related to the current ECC solution.
• Understand the business segments’ data landscape such as critical data elements, business rules, source systems and more to contribute a well-rounded knowledge of our business to the Technical, Finance, and external transformation team members
• Participate in workshops and sessions around business process analysis, process re-engineering, global templates, and value chain analysis.
• Build business segment stakeholder consensus ensuring understanding of, and agreement to S/4 core design principles and champion the solution being proposed.
• Challenge the status quo ensure optimal balance of NBCU Enterprise and local business requirements and maintain good business relations
• Serve as change agent to SAP S/4 transformation.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar and 15 years or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of relevant media industry experience.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of SAP business processes (e.g., AP, RTR, OTC).
• Keen understanding of agile project mgmt. and a record of accomplishment of on time delivery.
• Proven communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in organizational change management.
• Solution driven and results oriented.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills within functional and technical areas.
• Ability to represent NBCU with third party implementors with a collaborative mindset.
• A distinctive working knowledge of finance and data processes.
  
  

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week in New York, NY.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
