About the Role:

As Vice President of Sales, you will be the driving force behind Ferrero USA’s thriving business at Walmart Stores—a key contributor to our revenue and profit. Your mission is to elevate our account management to unparalleled heights, deploying innovative processes, tactics, and strategies that will propel Ferrero to the top tier of manufacturers in every category we enter.

This role requires a candidate who is already established in the Bentonville, AR area or is willing to relocate. Our dynamic team thrives on close collaboration and local insight, making your presence in Bentonville essential to our mutual success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Architect and steer the Commercial 3-year strategic vision.
  • Oversee the P&L from Gross to Net, judiciously managing Trade Funds and Sales Overheads for Walmart.
  • Champion Sales Execution and account management, harmonizing efforts across a diverse portfolio of 17 brands and 12+ categories.
  • Craft and actualize a holistic eCommerce strategy, achieving ambitious physical and digital financial goals.
  • Innovate and expand Ferrero’s presence in new store categories with trailblazing products, leveraging pilot programs and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
  • Foster and nurture executive-level relationships between Walmart and Ferrero, ensuring strategic alignment and partnership.
  • Lead a dynamic team to excellence through skill enhancement, organizational adaptability, and a commitment to diversity and mentorship.
  • Direct a dedicated workforce of 20+ associates spanning various functions, including Sales, Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, and more.
  • Propel innovation with a long-term perspective, influencing global initiatives to cultivate a robust and progressive customer plan.
  • Manage all Sales Controlling operations, ensuring meticulous execution and oversight.
  • Proactively anticipate and meet customer needs, guiding GTM plan implementation in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Spearhead communication strategies between Sales and Supply Chain to swiftly address issues and mitigate risks.
  • Drive growth in Omnichannel business by engaging in comprehensive sales and digital marketing initiatives.

Who we are looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of cross-functional sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a deep understanding of Walmart Inc.
  • A proven track record in Key/National account management and leading sales teams.
  • Broad experience across multiple CPG channels, including Field Operations, Customer Management, and Category Management.
  • Exceptional business insight, with a focus on premier sales and GTM strategies.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities, able to convey and reinforce Ferrero’s vision and strategy at all organizational levels and across cultures.
  • A strategic thinker with proactive interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior leadership within Ferrero and at our partners.
  • A commercially savvy leader with sharp business acumen and superior analytical prowess.
  • An inspiring management approach that fosters teamwork, celebrates diversity, enhances performance, and cultivates top talent.
