The Vice President Sales - Clinical Trials will be responsible for the overall revenue leadership and financial results of the company including company revenue, strategy & planning, EBITDA, etc. Responsibilities will include the overall management of the organization while achieving company objectives. The position will report directly to the President/COO Clinical Trials.
· Responsible for full P&L of business and both short term and long term financial results and strategy
· Lead key operational and commercial initiatives that drive long-term growth and profitability for the company, responsible for the overall strategic growth of the company
· Ensure the business meets expected financial returns
· Lead and develop talent of direct report team and within entire organization
· Develop yearly strategy and budget and monitor performance against expectations
· Define strategy and lead execution of above market profitable sales growth
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA highly preferred
· 10+ years senior commercial experience leading an organization with full P&L in clinical trials services or adjacency
· Experience overseeing commercial, strategy, business development and sales for the entire organization
· Experience in a B2B Life Sciences service or similar technology-software verticals
· Demonstratable and proven track record of driving change
· Background in at least leading a 100M P&L commercial business
Experience developing and high performance teams
· Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere and create employee centric environment
