Our client is revolutionizing cancer diagnostics through advanced liquid biopsy and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. Their focus on early cancer detection is transforming patient outcomes and improving lives.


We are seeking a distinguished and innovative Vice President of Research & Development (R&D) to spearhead their cutting-edge research initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in liquid biopsy, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and early cancer detection. Combined with a proven history of developing PMA (Premarket Approval) approved assays is crucial.


Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical R&D, focusing on liquid biopsy, NGS, and early cancer detection.
  • A proven track record of developing and commercializing PMA-approved diagnostic assays.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards for diagnostic products.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a dedication to enhancing patient outcomes.
