Title: 1502 Reporting Analyst

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate for the SBA 1502 Reporting Analyst position will be responsible for providing a high level of assistance and support to the SBA Operations/Lending Department. Individuals in this position should either possess knowledge of SBA SOP lending principles, practices and procedures and have a solid understanding of business lending compliance rules and regulations and/or possess strong financial analysis and data management skills, including strong experience with excel.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Complete the SBA 1502 payment report monthly within the given time frame allotted by the SBA
Responsible for the daily reconciliations of 7a loans against the FTA site.
Responsible for processing the “late payments” as needed
Responsible for monitoring the daily buyouts and paydowns
Use advanced Excel skills and other data analysis tools to monitor loan portfolio activity.
May manage scope and change control of assigned work in coordination with Management
Develop and modify reports for both need and efficiency
Understand the integration of data and processes
Use advanced Excel skills and other data analysis tools to monitor loan portfolio activity.
Provide analytical support of data trends and offer opportunities for efficiencies.
Assist with audit requests of data from both internal and external auditors.
Learn and Assess new reporting tools and data platforms.
- Understand and adhere to the SBA SOP and other business lending compliance rules and regulations.
- Work closely with SBA Portfolio Manager and SBA Credit Manager in providing reporting to SBA Division Head, Risk Committee and Senior Management as needed.
- Assist the operations department in loan bookings and processing.
- Work with the Cash Posting administrator to review posting issues and work on resolution and processes.
Primary Success Measurements:
Successful execution of all aspects of RCL’s 1502 reporting requirements.
Completion of projects/reporting by due dates.
Clear, effective communication with all levels of employment throughout the life cycle of a project as indicated by feedback from RCL management
Support of all operational and business processes as indicated by feedback from internal/external data clients
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Advanced Excel user with skillsets in VBA and macros, pivot tables and pivot table reporting, analytical formulas, charting, and conditional formatting.
Ability to document procedures for SQL code, Excel model function and business requirements.
- Ability to use SQL to create complex data extractions spanning multiple source systems.
- Ability to use SQL to create complex data profiling activities and analysis of large amounts of loan related data for logical understanding, financial planning and data confirms for audits.
Ability to train/cross-train others for backup support.
Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, ability to think logically and critically.
Ability to provide clear oral and written communication to a variety of business and technical audiences.
Previous experience with Oracle databases, MS Suite of Products, Business Intelligence software (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Business Objects). Experience with SalesForce, nCino, SHAW Commercial Loan System desired but not required.
