Role Purpose Statement

 Implement a new Target Operating Model, invest in upskilling the team, and become a catalyst and driving force behind transformation initiatives such as digitization and cutting-edge analytics.

 Forge alliances across the business to ensure harmonization of company and departmental goals and priorities.

Main Accountabilities

 As a key member of LSG’s leadership team, you will be instrumental in crafting a strategic agenda vital to the company’s success.

Your role will encompass:

 Overseeing sourcing, contracting and execution of all third-party spend

 Partnering with department & budget owners to drive cost-saving initiatives

 Owning all procurement processes, providing regulations expertise, and identifying best practices and opportunities for spending efficiency

You will be responsible for:

 Developing Procurement Strategies: Formulate and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals, strengthening supplier relations, realizing cost efficiencies, optimizing working capital, ensuring quality, and mitigating risk.

 Vendor Management (SRM): Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services at competitive rates. Lead all negotiations and contracting efforts.

 Sourcing and Contracting: Oversee the entire sourcing process, from supplier selection to contract negotiation, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

 Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through negotiation, supplier consolidation, and process enhancements. Monitor procurement metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.

 Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions or compliance issues to enhance resilience.

 Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of over 15 procurement professionals, fostering their growth to ensure high performance.

 Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to align procurement activities with business needs while promoting a culture of teamwork.

 Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest ethical standards in all procurement dealings, ensuring transparency and integrity.

 Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings and supplier performance, to executive and senior leadership as well as other stakeholders.

Leadership

 Model LSG corporate values, displaying strong ethical leadership in groups, projects and advisory bodies.

 Support other departments and functions as the Procurement Subject Matter Expert.

 Report directly to the CFO and oversee a team of over 15 procurement professionals.

 Travel occasionally to meet with suppliers, visit kitchens, and attend industry and/or functional events and conferences.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

 Experience in procurement leadership roles, with a proven record of success in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization.

 Strong negotiation skills and contract management expertise.

 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

 In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

 Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

 Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

 Professional certifications such as Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are desirable.

 Ability to inspire and motivate team through demonstrated leadership and clear vision communication.


Candidates must be willing to relocate to Dallas or already be local to the Dallas/Metroplex area.


SALARY: The starting base pay for this position ranges from $170,000-$200,000 (lowest geographic market). Base pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role includes a significant executive incentive plan and other financial benefits as part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible to participate in a full range of medical and wellness benefits on day one of employment.
