POSITION TITLE: VP, Originations Marketing

Position Summary

The Vice President, Originations Marketing will provide vision and leadership for the strategic development of the loan originations marketing landscape across all business lines – consumer lending, business lending and subservicing – and products. With a keen eye to digital marketing to drive a cutting-edge strategy for an innovative digital experience and generating leads into convertible mortgage loan opportunities, the VP is central to creating and executing the voice of the lead, client and borrower journey.

We are seeking a nimble, visionary leader with confidence and passion to be the catalyst on all phases of this digital marketing transformation. As a solution oriented, collaborative member of the management team, this leader will inspire the team and paint the vision and articulate the steps to modernize the customer experience as we grow our new brand.

Job Functions And Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to effectively perform each of the following essential duties:

  • Key leader and voice for the enterprise for how we position our brand in the consumer and business marketplaces where we operate
  • Identify and define marketing needs, including setting and understanding objectives, defining audiences and key messages/value propositions, and developing corresponding marketing plans, programs and/or campaigns
  • Develop a comprehensive strategic playbook across all channels of Originations.
    • Create a customer acquisition, retention, Purchase loan and Recapture marketing roadmap for Consumer Lending Platform
    • Develop and execute plans to position our Business Lending and Subservicing platforms to drive business opportunities to grow our client base and share in these markets
  • Develop and execute social media marketing plans to support our Consumer Lending, Business Lending and Subservicing lines of business, driving improvements in how our brand appears within segments and customer profiles
  • Drive significant customer experience improvements in partnership with channel leaders and Servicing leaders that will lead to high satisfaction and increased likelihood of recapture
  • Leverage data analytics tools and strategies to drive results
  • Be a key stakeholder in the customer recapture budget, optimizing spend across channels, user segments and geographies
  • Design and foster the customer profile, their experience and the market perception of our business as an originator with a strong servicing engine as a point of differentiation
  • Manage a marketing team to achieve written goals, KPIs and key business objectives
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other business degree
  • 10 - 12 years of marketing experience; Financial services, Fintech, or Mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Proven track record of developing innovative and impactful marketing/digital marketing strategies to drive growth and customer conversion
  • Analytical, funnel driven, experimentation driven
  • A change agent who relishes a fast paced-highly energized environment and can work through complexity and ambiguity to drive clear strategic thinking
  • Experience developing marketing strategies, testing, tracking campaigns and iterating on what is successful
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to persuade executive stakeholders
  • Credible consultant, advisor and facilitator of marketing strategies and initiatives to internal clients, prospects, and key influencers
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment
  • Superior time management, project management, organizational and leadership skills. Able to influence and coordinate the efforts of team members and other peers in execution of deliverables
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines to achieve marketing objectives
  • Experience managing direct reports

Training / Licensing Requirements

  • Must pass the Company’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements

The salary range for this position is expected to be $160k-215k per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for bonus and long term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the company's applicable plans.
