Vice President Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Manufacturing Operations to join our executive team and lead our manufacturing operations to new heights.

Job Description: The Vice President of Manufacturing Operations will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of our Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability. This executive position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in manufacturing management, operational excellence, and team leadership. The VP of Manufacturing Operations will work closely with other senior leaders to drive our company’s growth and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for manufacturing operations to align with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of manufacturing managers and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Manage and optimize the manufacturing budget, including capital expenditures and operational costs.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and other departments to streamline processes and drive product innovation.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to integrate new technologies and automation to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with multiple-site responsibility.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, preferably in a heavy industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestic and internationally.
